I used an Eastwood rolling tool, heated up the fenders, rolled very slowly and paid extra attention near the holes in the lip where the dimples would occur.

What happens is the the holes cannot take the stress of the lip bending so the load goes to the next stiffest area: the quarter panel. If you take your time around the holes and use less force the lip will still bend up.

Once I rolled it as much I could with the Eastwood tool, I took a C-clamp and a block of teflon and pinched the lip flat against the quarter panel. Alot more work than shaving; but end result is the same as shaving but with more structural integrity of the quarter panel.

How does this setup compare to a 2013 LS460 Air suspension?

How does it handle the turns? are there alot of leans?

Never been in a ls460 so I don't know. It handles far better than the factory ls430 UL air susp that's for sure.

Airtekk airstruts are designed with track use in mind. They have customers that drift their cars on airstruts.

My setup is 4way, so there are 2 valves per bag. That means no sharing of air between the bags, thus no lean or squat/dive

Do you know how that compares to the Airlift packages?

BTW, you should go test drive a new 2013 F Sport on Air suspension just for comparisons.

Also, how did you route the air lines on your setup? on the outside, then you drilled into the bottom of the trunk area?

It can be exactly like the Tien cs if I set it up like that. Or it can be like stock. Or it can be so stiff you Feel every wrinkle in the road.

It all depends what psi you set the bags at (40-120psi). And how you want to set the shocks ( 1 click
softest- 36 clicks hardest) for compression.

Bag psi is equivalent to spring "k" constant. Higher the psi, higher the spring rate=stiffer the feel

Your setup looks great. How hard was it to install the air setup?

If you can feel all the bumps, is it still smooth like the stock air setup?

It'd be great if you could compare your setup to a 2013 Fsport LS460 because I know how that one feels. It's way better than the 430 Air setup.

I wonder if there's a big different between Airlift and Airtekk LS430 kits, they both claim to be sport yet "soft".

How did you run the air lines and where did you install the air pump? I'd like to hide everything inside the spare tire area using a pancake air tank.

I should have my setup complete by the end of this week and will post pics. I went the Air lift route with AccuAir E-level and Valve. The tank and pump are going in the spare tire area with a standard 5 gal tank (oblong).
