Default Secondry screen dash kit

So I randomly saw this on instagram, I'm new to this LS so just exploring options adding ipod/aux, so this was nice to see.

Has anyone seen this before? the guys post stated he worked for rywire and that he opened a beatsonic account. I'd love to keep my factory nav and be able to keep factory volume/track control.

Ive seen this done in many cars.

It isnt that expensive as you already have the factory nav, so the bottom Headunit is basically just for audio and videos (if you want videos).

All you need is a Headunit, a harness (plug and play), and another harness to retain the functions on steering wheel.

Is this an aftermarket Nav unit? I've been thinking about trading my 2002 for one with nav, but if I can get a kit that would be neat because I love the car, just want nav and backup cam.

yes. your looking at a older pioneer HU. its definitely a lot cheaper (and IMHO) way better than most factory navigations out there.

I believe that is a member's car. IIRC his name is "moto"? (or something along those lines). I know he had a set of coilovers for sale a while back, but i think the thread was deleted.

I agree, it's very ugly.

I thought these usually came with a wood trim dash kit?

Hello everyone,

that is my pic of my car. It is a beat sonic kit and I love it. I still use my oem nav. just use the pioneer for music and videos. For some it might be ugly but its exactly what ilike. I hate the look of the old tape player. I feel like it ages the interior so much. finally got rid of it. I also am not a fan of wood trim like most so I did not go with the wood trim option. I actually am thinking about something to do to my wood so it is no longer wood and something more modern. If anyone is interested in the kit PM me. The pioneer is a older unit btw. Ive had it for a while. Took it out of my show car that was sponsored by them but I love it and plan to keep it until it looks old haha.

This actually looks like a great option to fix everyones issues with sound quality issues.
The OEM unit is also ancient in technology and for such an expensive top end car the lack of Tv's was a small down fall. I'll be using this lit in the future and probably deleting all the wood trim with 3M carbon fibre look wrap as i'll be going black leather anyway.

Interested to see how carbon and black on the dash, and just wood on the doors looks.
Too much fake wood looks funny anyway and i love have a Tv in such a car, even my drift car has a screen.
