Trunk Open light won't go off-alarm is annoying
 

I forced my trunk lid to close last night over my suitcase and think I may have bent something. The luggage motor will not engage to close the trunk. The motor will engage when I pull the inside lever. When I pop the trunk, it's really hard to open. Something is catching it keeping it from opening freely. We have done troubleshooting with fuses. Main problem is the red flashing light saying trunk open and beeping when the trunk is indeed closed. Any ideas??

Welcome to CL. sounds like you bentbsomethingbin the mechanism double check all arms and the struts. You might get lucky and only have to swap out struts. Or you may have a bigger more expensive problem. Lesson learned. Don't force the lid on a motorized trunk.. Good luck! Let us know how it turns out!

I have already replace struts and know that's not my problem.
