Default 20" Lexani on 03' LS430

So my buddy wants to sell me these wheels off his LS430 so I know they'll fit. The price is $500 which is why I'm thinking about it. They are 20x8.5 all the way around so not staggered. What do you guys think?

That's not a bad price at all. They should fit just fine. Do you know the offset of the wheels?

Good price, even better if they include tires.

Make sure to find out why he's selling... Do they ride rough (bent wheels)? Wobble at a certain speed (balance issues or hub, etc)?

photos of them on his car? and yeah 500 seems like quite the deal. in the OP you said they aren't staggered, but you dident say if they where the same offset, if the fronts have different offsets then the back they are staggered and could affect fitment, did your friend need any body work to make them fit just right?

No I wish I had a photo but he doesn't have one. I can't tell but all 4 wheels measure all the same. I believe they are all the same size.

So here's an update. So I put these wheels on my but there was major rubbing. I found out the front wheels are 20x8.5 +40 offset. So I figured that I needed to shave the fenders. After getting that done today it's still rubbing in the front. I'm finally realizing that I may have gotten to wide of tires in the front. I got 255/35/20 in the front.

I need advice here. Do you guys think this is my problem? Do I need 225/35/20 tires instead? If so will this make a difference? Any help would be great. I'm a bit frustrated at this point.

I think going with 225's would help out a lot. I've got 245's up front and it rubs a lot. 225's should help. If you wanted to take it a step further you could go with a 225/30/20 tire instead of the 35 profile.

Is it rubbing on the outside or the inside of the fender?

It's rubbing on the inside. Kira X are you hearing metal grind when it rubs? That's what mine sounds like.

If it's rubbing on the inner part of fender by the shock, then a wheel spacer may be needed.
