LS430 Resetting Garage opener in car

hi, does anyone know how to reset the garage memory in the LS 430? I am selling my car right now... please help...

I thought it was pretty simple.... here...

Press and hold the two outer HomeLink® buttons, releasing only when the HomeLink indicator light begins to flash after 20 seconds. Do not hold for longer than 30 seconds.
