Spiffy New Damaged Rims for the LS from TireRack
Got and home and was excited to check out my new winter wheels since the OEM ones are looking really dingy.
Started unpacking them about an hour ago and ALL 4 of them are DAMAGED
I dont think Tire Rack is to blame on these as I am betting my delivery driver just slammed them onto my porch when literally 'dropping' them off...
Sadly I wasnt home to actually see him deliver the parcel.
Check out my pain:
Wheels 1,3,4 all have some Lip Damage
Wheel 2 had damage on the edges on 2 of the spokes. (images 2&3)
Wheel 4 had a Defect where metal was not completely machined out for the letter "R" (ironically it Passed with a QC sticker

Has anyone else had such damage before when getting wheels shipped in?
Im going to call TireRack tomorrow, this is my first time buying wheels online and so far it isnt sitting well. If anyone had such an experience, did TireRack make it right?

i had discount tire order me a set of rims for my 430 and two or them were damaged and discount tire handled the returns.idont think tire rack is as good as they use to be.i hope you dont have any issues when you try to return them.

I have checked on your order, it appears you have already spoke with customer service and a new set of 4 has been shipped today. You should have your new wheels shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience but shipping damage does happen from time to time, however I'm glad it was resolved. Enjoy your new wheels.
