Default Control arms and traction rods for lowered ls430

Hi, I'm planning to install Megans Rear Control Arms and Traction Rods for my 02 Ls430 on Air Sus.,
I wanted to know if this is the way to go, and do I need both parts? Or just the Rear Control arms is all I need? I want to install the megan Rear Camber kit as well, but place i bought it from is on back order. So if anyone is familiar with this set up . Please let me know if I'm doing the right thing?
BTW. I usually drive pretty low, and hoping this setup will help with premature tire wear and toe's pointing outwards correction.

thanks

What exactly are your goals? Are you trying to fit wheels or just correct alignment at lower ride heights?

Hey man, I'm doing the same, I have mine in the garage, I'll be following this, lol. If you find an ss pro kit for cheap and you don't want it lemme know. I might end up getting one, possibly.

The toe pointing outwards (called positive toe) can be adjusted by the factory wobble nut - no need to buy anything.

The Megan adjustable control arms adjust the camber in the rear. Not sure if you know this, as you mentioned you were buying control arms but then mentioned separately that you were getting a rear camber kit as well.

The Megan adjustable traction rod is to adjust for bumpsteer, but ultimately what we buy it for is so that we can center the wheel in the wheel well. By lowering the car, the wheel has moved forward in the wheel well. Looking at the wheel well for reference, alot of people rub at the 9 o'clock position. If you arent slammed or running aggressive setup, you wont need the adjustable traction rods.

You can get both Megan Traction rods and Lower control arms from Ebay. I bought mine from a seller in CA, had it at my door in 3 days.

There are actualy 3 arms for the LS rear, Camber, Toe and Traction. Since I wasn't going too too aggressive (maybe -4) I was told I'd only need camber and toe. If I need the traction I'll get them too, but was told I just needed the two pair...

At ride height in my car and -4* camber my toe was in spec with out needing adjustable toe arms. Stock adjustment had enough to correct for it.

Overall ,, i found out , the best thing to get is the ss kit pro , it'll help with my issue, and after that if anything else toe control arm next, along with camber kit etc.

You are really confusing your terms. You want a toe arm, and a lower control arm (which adjust camber). I drove my car really low and used all three. I needed the traction arm to center the wheel like was stated before.

I actually have all three for sale right now cause im parting out my car.

Default Great info

Thanks for the heads up I was wondering what needed to be changed so that I don't rub at the 9 o clock position.
