Just got my LS460 LWB mats for my 430!
A little treat for my favorite Japanese girl. Got them brand new from our forum dealer, just gave them a quick vac before I install them. Yes they are nicer than stock, but waaaay over priced for what they are. I was expecting them to have a little more heft to them. Mine are black, but don't really look it. They are more like deep charcoal. But then again, I suppose neither is my cars carpeting. Have not put them in the car yet so I maybe I will be happier once I put them in about the color. All in all, I think they are going to add a little bit of quite to the ride and plushness to the car. Just a little surprised about the craftsmanship of the mats. Hope they last! I will be switching back to my weathertech's once the weather gets nasty. which mean's I'll have a short honeymoon with these, but hey, at least I'll have them for my upcoming road triip so I can see if they make a difference. I'm hoping they make the car quieter and allow the stereo to image a little better. Ha- I think I'm asking too much now. LOL. Overall still a

Eating my words....better than expected.
So, for what these mats are, nothing more than cheap home carpet scraps really, they sure do a hell of a lot for the car. Expensive yes, but the amount of enjoyment of the car, totally worth it. They are worth it for other reasons.....
The color match while not quite perfect, is easily overlooked. I would say that it's about 98% the same. The fitting like others have already said is slightly off, but certainly doable. They are so plush feeling underneith that I find myself barely wanting to put my foot into them. We should consider ourselves lucky that we can fit mats like this from another car into ours.
However, what is really making me love them is the difference in ride comfort I get from them. Especially coming from my rubber weathertechs I have had since I have owned the car. I never had carpet in my LS. The car feels like a living room on wheels even more now, and the road noise has definitley decreased. Also, the ML system is actually not as bad as I thought. It is actually very good indeed. I understand now that the mats need to be carpet in order for the system to design as intended. It's apparent that the rubber mats totally skew the sound. I never knew.....

I went with the Lloyd Luxe mats for summer use. When new, they were a bit too thick and plush for under the driver's foot. In winter, I use the original factory mats up front and some older Weathertech rubber mats in back.

Has anyone tried the LS460 Winter Mats? Since OEM winter mats are not available for the LS430 and many have used the LS460 carpet mats I was thinking of giving them a try for the upcoming winter.

I might just have to come up with some heel area protection for these new mats. They are VERY soft and I can tell that they wont last worth crap from my heel digging into them. I guess for now until I get a more elegant solution I can use an old folded microfiber. I dug right through my rubber weather tech mats with my heal in under 20k miles......DOH!

only get the 460 weathertechs if you are going to get the floor liners, not the mats. They are a good fit, but not perfect. if you are just going to to get the mats, get the 430's, obviously. But remember the liners have very high walls, so it's going to call attention to the fact that they are not perfect fits. Just putting that out there.
