You can run 10% in the LS430, although personally I don't see why you would or recommend it. Lexus Australia says the whole LS430 model run is compatible but here the higher fuel use isn't ofset by a large enough reduction in price, the fuel decomposes much more quickly which can cause low octane issues and to top it off very rapidly absorbs atmospheric water vapor. Interesting to note that my local dealer said that whilst the LS430 is compatible they do not reccomend it either. Scared?

It should be fine. Sadly, it's hard to find 100% gas anymore.

In the area in the USA where I live , it is impossible to avoid the 10% ethanol gas because almost every gas sells it. Ethanol has less energy content than other gasoline components so it also produces slightly lower mpg.

my 05 has run Costco gas for 98% of its 64K miles, and regular to boot,, they always have an ethanol mix,,

my best mileage has been 28.6 on a trip

previous Beamer and Benz were fed the same mix and never an issue,,

Just remember that ethanol as a fuel additive was edicted by Congress as a result of finding that the long used additive tetra-ethel lead was found to be carcinogenic and easily contaminated ground water. Congress later edicted even higher amounts of ethanol in gasoline to supposedly reduce our dependance on foreign oil. That is a staged program, by law, that will continue until around 2025. Consequently, the amount of ethanol in fuel will continuously increase over the years and the lower mixture will be exceeding difficult to find.

Even now, localities that have high pollution levels use higher amounts of ethanol.
