Default Replace shift indicator

Hi all, I want to replace the sift indicator because I just bought a used 430 and the indicator is a bit scratched up. The part is about $40 but is this a labor intensive job?

Unscrew the shift **** and then it relatively easy to get the center wood trim off that surrounds the shifter - search the replace ash tray thread for pics and some basic instructions.
