Q45 and M45 Ls430 retro
Sooo, ive always love how the Q45 gatlin projectors look in the ls430 headlights, i missed out on the sales of the only two sets That I Kno Of in the states :signdammit: one in texas, the other in hawaii, so i was force to do my own, scared? Yes, bcuz i didnt wana mess up and have to buy a new headlight, needless to say i gather the two projectors and decided, what the hell, since im in there (no homo) i might as well do a second set of retro, the M45 projectors =) since my car is a daily and i didnt wana rush this project, soo i waited, until i was brave enuff that is :smiley-rofl: so i took a long weekend starting friday evening and started the tear down, the baking and the opening up.....
Last time seeing them like this LOL

Fresh out the oven

M45 taken apart to measure fitment

Cutting out my New Clear running n blinker light

Where to go from here......

I couldnt decide how to make them secure with a tight fitment so i took them to my friend of mine, Freston at his shop Emerald Performance about 5 miles from where i stay, this guy does everything lol frm Welding, Fabricating, Wiring u name it, even got his own Performance Ecu, he did a good job tho, even tho it was nerve racking watching him cutting, drilling and sanding lol

I didnt wana lose my AutoLeveling function so he mounted the Gatlin with the old housing bracket...

We couldnt use the outter Clear throud from the m45 projector (On Right), it wouldnt fit, still came out nice tho

So between him and i we spent almost two days one headlight, i was more than happy with the result tho, time to clean up and put it back 2gether, the other side only took a day by the way, same procedure....

Here is the finish product and the one we took two days on =) my drl and park/running lights are on, i like the green tint on the Oem housing, the m45 projector also has the green tint which makes everything look so much more Oem IMO, i also drilled and install led in the dummy spot in the fogs a few months back lol

Everything was finished jus in time for our CLFL meet, Big-up to Tony for these clean pics, enjoy...

I also polish my oem calipers
