I've yet to see it on an LS430. I suppose you could copy what Merc does and place them by the fogs. Or you might be able to put them inside your headlight cover (saw it on a modded LS460). Don't really know where you would find such a thing

You mean a replacement LED bulb for you DRL/High Beam?

V-Leds has a kit. But they are just 9005 bulbs. So almost any 9005 LED should work. Only thing is you loose your High Beam function.

Here is a thread on the V-Leds setup.

I thought you meant something from the new Audis.

If you are just talking about swapping the existing DRL lamp with LED lights then that is a pretty common thing here (and it looks awesome). It's on my 'want' list but the headlights are quite difficult to take apart.

Loosing your brights is not a bad thing, I re-aimed my headlamps up higher due to them being aimed low by the factory and have no need for high beams. The 430's projector HID's are incredible for light output and road coverage (Better than the 460) you won't believe (check out the pic below)

As you can see they are very capable and the most sought after projectors that are retro fitted in other vehicles, I did not miss the brights at all. Quite a few guys here have done this mod as well, just another option I'm putting out there.

Here are some pics I took after I put in brand new HID bulbs in my 430.

For you guys that want to know how to raise the 04-06 low beams.

1st- You will need a ratchet & a 10mm socket

2nd- Park on a flat surface in front of wall with headlights on.

3rd- Behind each low beam headlight there are holes, stick the ratchet socket into the hole and turn clock wise to raise to the desired height. This will also adjust both low and high beams at the same time, do not go nuts or it will be too high! A few turns should do it, start out slow.

4th-Test drive, if you don't like adjust until you do, if you do like say "CAKE" and you are done

B/c the LED's do not output enough light to be useable for hi-beams.

Yeah if you get the kit it comes with the little inline box. It has nothing to do with warning lights on your dash AFAIK
