Approximate cost? Will it be necessary to install exhaust tips considering the original mufflers will be exposed?

I don't see why you can't do the tips. Just add them on with a little mod to the tail on the mufflers

I remember seeing a thread about a complete transformation from the 01-03 front and rear end to the updated 04-06. I'll look for it and update it if I find it.

I had a rear end collision a couple years ago, and the idiots at the body shop replaced the factory bumper with a later model bumper that had the exhaust cut outs. I decided to leave it and had chrome tips installed. Since mine is an 03, and the cars with the cuts outs were newer, I assume that the fit was no issue. Every line, angle and trim piece fits perfectly.

I'll post some after cleanup. Really dirty today. The tips are typical exhaust shop stock.
