Hello,

I've been in the second gen GS game for awhile now. I am finally moving up to a LS430. Looking at a 01-05 years. Most likely a 01-03 models.


First question,
-LEDs taillights EBAY
Which one should i get and what's the difference between these four?

This guy is pretty legit too. i dealt with this guy before, but the only problem it's the outters only. Is there any inners that comes along with it too?

Second Question,
What coilover should i get? I want to get a flush look on 20's with a agressive offset on it with a lite camber. (-1ish)

And what other opinion do you guys have for me? what should i be expecting?

Welcome to the ls430 world bro #1 & 2 is the same exact thing, #3 is (Fabulous) jus red/clear no LED and #4 is (Jdm)red/clear and LED which are jus outters as u mentioned, therez a few coilover set up out there, it jus comes down to how much u wana spend or if u rather new or used, jus (search) look around, gl....

Get # 3. Those are non Leds. I have them. Only comes with the outer and they match perfect. You won't have to worry about the tail lamp failure message. The LS is a whole nuther level. I bought my sister Gs300 and then flipped it in 2 months to get into one. Needed the V8 powa!!

I have 18" Sport replicas from Oe Wheels on Ebay. $530 shipped. Love em. No need to spend 3 to 4 times as much for OEM.

Drop your car if you want and put those 18" on and call it a day. I left mine stock height.

yea, it looks like i might the #3 taillights then.

How much the coilovers... I want a flush drop on 20's and can adjust almost high height at times. depending on my mood. well, i'm already planning to spend money since, it's a LS now.

Most likely, i will be getting a silver LS again. it looks more clean to my eye. Since my GS400 was silver. I like the way the color looked.

@JLAWS: On your car, what's that piece extending from the trailing edge of the roof, out over the top of your back window (kinda looks like a visor)? I've never seen this before. Just curious...

um, you're a little bit too far, but i can have Platinum VIP can help me with that stuff. thanks for the offer.

I'm keeping my LS430 as simple as possible.

A good drop (FLUSH)
VIP Modular step lip rims (not sure which ones yet)
change the taillights
tint windows
chrome handles
and probably change the front grill to a JP one.
and that's it.

I think we have the same idea about style. I'm not going to lie I just bought a LS430 of a guy on this forum and it has 20's dumped on tanabe coil. I love the ride but need to learn on how to get in and out oft my driveway without scaping. Anyways there's a little mini meet on thursday in Valencia, and I can give you a ride in my LS so you can see how it rides.

duby1, i am in the same situation as you. Try to get rid of my GS so i get a 04-06 UL. I want to keep it as clean and simple as possible.
