Default 2003 LS430 Navigation Issue

Since I had my battery changed at a local Autozone, the map on my screen is not oriented correctly. It seems like its tilted 45 degrees to the left or right depending on wether I make a left or right turn. In other words, the map is never 90 degrees where the indicator is upright vertically. Does anyone know how to reset this?? Thanks...

Have you tried to reset the orientation between North - up and driving direction - up?

How is that done? I tried using the calibration setting but that's only for the car position indicator...

^^^
On my 05, I hit the soft button on the upper left corner of the screen. It either has a "N" or compass arrow, depending on the setting. It may be what you call the car position indicator, in that either the screen always displays North up (the car indicator changes direction as the car turns) or direction up (the car indicator stays fixed and the map background rotates as the car turns). I'm just wondering if forcing the nav unit to recalculate the display will correct your problem.
