Pulling the headliner
So I did a wash and seal today on the LS. Everything was going great until i noticed that I had a ding on my roof. Something obviously fell on it. It might have been the rock that hit my windshield on the highway ricocheting onto the roof. who really knows... Anyway, I have not brought it to my PDR guy, but will show it to him next week, if the price is reasonable, I will have it done.
I sent him the pic below so he could get an idea, but the pic does not really show the ding well, but at least he can get an idea as to where it is on the panel. Is it a big deal to get to this spot on the ls? I don't want to mess up the headliner but the ding really greats me when I walk to the car. Freaking OCD SOB I am!
It looks as if due to the location, we might be able to get to the spot. I am no pdr person, but I think if we are able to remove the drivers side sun shade and remove the sunglass holder, we should be able to pry the roof down to get the tool inside. Am I correct in my assumption? Seeking advice.

Pole Position
If it's directly above the sunglass holder/interior light area, there's a good chance that there will be a bracing frame going across the roof in that area, and you may not be able to access the outer skin. Worth a try of course, but just be prepared for that to be the case.
