My 05 LS has 110 k on it. Midwest car but winters in CA for first 5 years. Took a direct hit to center of my rear wheel at 70 by what I think was a boulder. The center of the rimhad like a dent 3/8 inch deep, amazing my tire did not blow. I took it to a frame shop and two new tires, aligned rides like never before...however I brought somes scratches to his attention on the trunk. He was real good about it but and offered to pay to have it buffed without admitting guilt. But I was told by 2 shops nothing could be done besides a repaint.

The car drove so damn good after the fix I didn't push the issue as I was not 100% sure.

Now the point I tried this stuff Quixx 2 part car repair system. Two one oz tubes some cloth for buffing and 3000 grit sandpaper for wet sanding. It worked really well and just two small couple inch scatches are barely notieable before doing the last step for deep scratches with a paint stick. Has anyone else used this? Quixx-usa.com

Oh ya tire was an MXV4 Primacy, thats why I just stay with Michelin.

Yes I have used this scratch repair system also and would rate it as very good and pretty safe to use if directions are followed

Site talks about "German Process Plastic Deformation" 15 bucks at walmart. Easily saved me money at resale.

Good to hear about the scratch fix and the Primacys too. The last owner had the dealer put a brand new set of those on the car shortly before he traded it in, about 12k ago.
