Gonna keep her anyway as I kinda like it. No matter what color, Lexus lays down a very nice and durable paint job.

 

The color of the car is great, I and Jab were talking about the emblems i.e....



But if you love them, I'm happy for you and congrats again on a clean car.

 

Gold emblems look great. You just got a great classic car. Keep it that way and enjoy. You don't have to follow the current crowd.

 

Yea just to clarify I was talking about changing out the bright gold plated Lexus emblems only. I think the actual gold paint is a beautiful color.

But as Jayclapp pointed out lots of folks like the gold emblem look and that's perfectly valid. It is a classic look.

 

I see. I thought you guys were referring to the whole Gold scheme, including paint. My bad. Its funny, cause I prefer the gold emblems over the silver. But I dont like the plastic-y look. However, if they were real gold they would definitely not be staying on the car.

My next investment is window tint.

Congrats on the purchase. It is also my favorite color. I have the gold package as well. So I added gold license plate frames to maintain the look. You don't see many our color, so you have something unique!!
