Question about VSC after installing coilovers
Hey all,
Installed Megans a few months back. A few afters after the install the TRAC off / Check Engine light came on....along with "Check VSC" on the dash
I have a 04 LS430.
Was going to take it into the shop to have the problem checked out but wanted to check on here first to see if any of you could help me save a buck!
Can you think of any places a sensor might have gotten disconnected during the install? I think it is on the back, because the car lets me slide in one direction, but VSC kicks in when I try to slide in the other direction...
Anybody else had this problem?
Thx
-Jason

Well, having your car scanned for codes is the correct first step. You may want it done at the dealer or any other place (such as some Autozone stores), but you will need the information to get started on the repair.
Remember that the VSC light will come on secondary to the CEL anyway, so your problem may be with the engine and the coilovers may just be co-incidental.
Good Luck.
