Hey guyz i have a new problem arghhhh ...

I had given my car for two weeks for some work at a workshop and they have unplugged the battery wires and when i got it back and while reconnecting the wires i have the following options missing on my screen

The 1st pic is what i had before and after getting it n reconnecting the battery wires i just get the option of lexus park assit and screen setting and i dont get language,calender,maintenance and telephone but i do get the telephone option when i click on the button on the steering wheel

even though i didnt have a navigation cd earlier also but these options were shown on the screen and worked fine and now it shows please insert correct cd with a japanese language too

HELP PLEASE

 

dang dude that sucks, i don't have a clue but my guess is that it somehow got hard reset and lost its (in my case) u.s. software... i would call a lex rep or dealership if no one on here can offer any help.

 

Dude dont scare me lol this was imported from USA to dubai its ultra luxury package and now i have got this issue

 

Suggest you install the nav disc, even though it may not cover your area. That might clear up some of the problems.

How long did he have the battery unplugged? If it was just a momentary thing then it could have just "shook" the system when he disconnected the batt for that short period. I would just disconnect again for atleast 5min then reconnect. If not the case, then definately get the nav disc. And charge the guy for the disc! just kidding.

 

I will try the navigation cd but will it work then ??

 

I dont know many people riding around without a navi disc, so it cant hurt to try.
