How do you know if the timing belt was changed

Default How do you know if the timing belt was changed

I bought an 02 ls430 with 150,000 miles. the guys said the timing was changed but how can I tell for sure???

did you check the maintenance records with Lexus?

Ask the guy for the work order and receipt if done at an independent shop, if done at dealership , it would be recorded with the maintenance records. good luck

Should need to be changed again at 180,000 again anyway if it was changed at 90,000 the last time it was done. Did they tell you the changed it right before your purchase? If the told you that you would need proof of the change being done. That said, the service schedule for that is every 90,000 miles buddy. Hope it was changed for you!!! L.G.N.M
