2 questions; upgrading Nav & programming remote

I have a 04 UL and am thinking of upgrading my Nav Disc. Currently the car has 4.1 and I know 9.1 just came out. I am looking for someone who upgraded their system so I can buy their old disc and still upgrade my system.

Second question is regarding my Smart key. I have the master that works and the valet that does not. Can I reprogram the valet myself since I have a working remote? Also, can I change just the case shell on the master since mine is worn and transfer the parts?

#2, SmarkKey can not be updated/programmed by the user. Lexus has some scanner/machine that they use to program the key. Some locksmiths that deal with car keys can do it also. As for the inners, the master and valet keys are different. The valet has one less button. As for just swapping your insides with a new casing, i don't know any people that are selling just the casing, but if you can get a newer key, you can definitely pull the inner out easily and swap over.
