Smile I just can't bring myself to get rid of my 02 UL

I've been car shopping. Wife has an A8L. I love Audi's, so I've been test driving, internet studying, brochure looking, etc.

Took a good test drive....drove an S4..what a car.

BUT....I get back in my '02 UL - silver, black, rosewood, factory chrome wheels, 57,250 miles, incredible condition, and even with its body roll, etc., I still like it too much to get rid of it.

My UL is really nice.....washed weekly, waxed constantly....really nice. No one can believe it's an '02.

I love those Audi's, but I just can't part with the LS. I might could for another A8L, but they've got a total redo coming for 2011.

The LS is just a great car.

I feel you.I understand how you feel not wanting to part with your LS430! Its the right decision not to part with it. Each car has something the other doesn't! The LS(all models) is a special breed! L.G.N.M

I actually know exactly where you're coming from. I test drove everything this last week, looking for a worthy upgrade–*New 7 series, S550, A8 L, and I got in my LS after every test drive and thought "whats the point?" There really isn't that much of a difference. IMO, the S550 is the only thing that *feels* better built on the inside, but then again, it stickers for $110k, so it damn well better. I figure I'll probably wait until I can get a 600hL below $75k on the pre-owned side in very nice condition and just go that route.

Wow... for me, there is nothing out there right now in same class and price range I would even consider over my LS and it's not even UL, just CL. The only vehicle that even tickles my fancy is the AWD LS... but I'll have to wait a while to even think about that...
