Default how to remove side mirror control switch?

Anyone know how to remove the switch that controls the side mirrors? I can't adjust the passenger mirror. The motor in the mirror works because it lowers when in reverse, so it must be the switch. How can I take it out to clean it?

Default Easy fix.....

Same thing happened to me and one my customers. Open the coin tray, reach your finger in (maybe with a small pick tool) & depress the ratchet mechanism down, while pulling the coin tray out gently. With the coin tray out, reach in with your finger & pop the switch out. Unplug the switch, (don't let the connector fall back into the hole), and carefully pop open the switch by releasing the tabs with a tiny screwdriver & lift off the cover. Don't tear apart the switch, just spray some brake or electrical cleaner where the contacts are. Pop the cover back on & reinstall. Push the coin tray in (it makes a crunching sound going in) and you're done. If you screw up the coin tray mechanism, let me know.

Default It Works

Followed your advise. Worked perfectly. Used a Swiss Army knife blade to deflect the back of the coin tray while carefully pulling on the tray and out she came. Kind of a sudden release. Then just used the fingers to grab hold of the bottom edge of the dash trim and with steady pulling pressure the spring clips on either side let go. Popped out the plug holding it in and then popped out the switch unit. Sprayed the crap out of it while pushing the buttons. Shook out the spray. Let it dry and plugged it back in. Works great. Thanks for saving me a pile of cash. You rule.
