Actually, just to clarify, i didn't mean it from the financial sense. $6,000 as you say in the worse case scenario is a large sum of money for most of us that had purchased these cars second hand. My only point was the frequency in which this takes place is comparably low to the amount of coverage it was getting.

admittedly, one of the main reasons i purchased the extended warranty was because i did not want to deal with air suspension repairs down the road.

I love the ride and adjustable damping myself.

That is because the rest of the car is so flawless, this only problem becomes a very big deal. Otherwise, we got nothing else to talk about

Thank you, I appreciate that

Sorry for being so negative there.

Believe me, I have nothing but prise about the LS430 and all things Lexus with the general public, I don't want to taint the pristine imagine of Lexus. I am a total Lexus fanboy, Lexus is my favorite car brand, by far

I only share the truth on forum here with you guys

Actually I really enjoyed it while I had it, it feels really good to me. I enjoyed being able to rise up the car to make oil change easier too.

To pull a 180 on this thread, my car has over 127,000 miles on it and has never had any problems with the air suspension. It may not be the norm, but obviously not all fail early on.

Thanks Boomer01 that is exactly the point I have been trying to make without upsetting the couple of unfortunate guys with the problems.

I agreed, I met one guy that told me his air struts lasted 160k miles.

Now I didn't say they all failed quickly, I was just saying some do failed early.

Thanks, it is fun watching it go up and down too

I just realized, I am going to have a lot less room to work with in all my future oil changes unless I jack up the car
