I think it comes down to whether you want plush luxury or sporty, both cars has one or the other.

The newer electronics in the GS is REALLY nice, and it is fun to scoot around in it. But it doesn't remotely come close in luxury and quietness of the LS.

Exactly my thoughts. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, but seeing you ALREADY have the LS430, the question is if your still thinking about it, and you think its what you want, might go ahead and take a test drive.

Yup. If it was a "should I get LS or GS" question, then LS hands down. But since you have the LS already and you're asking this question, then it must mean you're "missing" something from your LS experience, so go test drive a GS and see if you like it better. Take a LONG drive, local, highway, about 10 miles to get a good feel. Don't just drive around the block and down some local roads.

Touch it, play with the buttons, drive it hard... give it a good look through and make sure you want it as a long term vehicle because the two are just different.

Similar to blacksc400 answer, I would only replace my LS with 07+ LS460L
No I don't want a 911

The only decision I have to make is, do I want the lazy boy and the TV?
