Default I pulled the trigger...LS is it!

Hello!
First post ever just to announce I am the proud new owner of a 2005 Modern Lux (?) Blue Onyx on Tan LS 430. See pic. Only one pic uploadable!?
I am not particularly thrilled about that trim on the side but...we'll see if I can take it off. I've had for 2 weeks and so far I am thrilled! A little trouble keeping the tires at 33 but...overall very happy.
I am still learning all the tricks from this forum and the manual.
Just a couple of days ago on two way traffic I decided to pass a "slower" car at about 60 miles so...I pressed the pedal and...it took off like a jet...amazing car!

Congrats!

Blue Onyx was my first color choice, but it is a hard color to find w/out the almost white interior. Gotta love the pwr the LS has!

Default another pic

Here's another pic where the trim line starting from the headlight is a little more visible. It looks really dark in the pics!
Maybe someone knows if this was this factory (?). I'll be trying a hair dryer on it this weekend. See what happens.

Congrats and it looks awesome. You are in for your best car owner experience you have ever had. Next month I will have owned mine for a year and I have to say that I still get excited when I drive it and I still look back over my shoulder when I park it to get that last look before I go into work and think to myself, Yeah thats my baby! In summary, it makes me smile every day!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
I have to admit I bought it without even a test drive. My previous car was a ES 300 which I was happy with for 190K miles so I knew this was the one for me. I started looking at the RX330s (which are comparable in price) but when I got clued in on the "opportunity" the high gas prices was creating...I started hunting for my LS. The 04's seemed like a better value but now the market is flooded with off lease '05s.
I knew I wanted the ML stereo, everything else was "extra" for me. The first few days I was even using the key only to later discover its equipped with the smart key
I commute about an hour each way so this car offers all kinds of gadgedtry to keep me entertained. On mods, I really liked the exhaust tips I saw here recently...the flowmasters SS...I think that will be my first one.
And yes!, I still park and look back to admire it!

Nice car. Congratulations and welcome to CL! I have been very tempted by these cars because there is no better bang for the buck on the market right now. For the time being, I've decided to keep my first gen GS, though.
