We're looking for an LS 430 with the Ultra package without the sport package (2004, 2005, or 2006.) Where is the best place to get one and what is a good price for it? We prefer the maroon or blue first, then gray, then white. Wife does not want black outside or inside. <sigh> We've been looking for 5 months now, mostly via autotrader.com and local stealership. I have a million questions, so is it better to make one question per thread or just a few or all of them per thread?

I have questions about the ML sound system, the GPS system, air suspension, and more

You can also try looking at your local Lexus dealership and see what kind of inventory they have. If you are looking for a specific color with options than You should be prepared to travel to buy the car of your dreams.

I did look at your car. Bottom line is there are many cars more affordable for us. Even '04s are now down in the mid 20's and even less. Some 05's are under 30k. This is for Ultra's. Sorry.

 

Yeah, trust me, I know. I am trying to sell my 04 Ultra with 45k miles for $29k and I owe $32k. Little interest so far. I believe the prices are falling faster than normal because of the V8 in the midst of high gas prices.

 

Drink, your car got me interested until I saw the 18" wheels. We test drove an Ultra with the sport package and it didn't work for us. I drive a sports car now as a daily driver.

 

The Ultra has a button that allows a choice between Sport and regular soft ride. I don't think it is permanently sport tuned...

Does anyone here know if this is correct, as I do have a button on my console that allows me to switch back and forth, vs my old 03' LS430 where I was permanently stuck in soft mode since it did not have air suspension.

Also, I may be wrong about the wheels. When I bought it, I was told they were 18" and I've had in my sig ever since. If I was wrong, would definitely have egg on my face...LOL. I'll try to post a photo of them...

Well, there is the sport mode on the cars but what I'm talking about is the "sports package" that is actually some kind of suspension change from the factory. The sports package includes the 18" wheels. I don't know if the 18" wheels are available any other way - I guess that is part of my question.

 

OK, we have it figured out. Looked at the tire sidewall FINALLY and see that it is a P225/55/R17. Sig has been modified.

However, this did provide a great excuse to post a pic of my car.
