Parking Sensor problem
So I'm having this problem with one of my parking sensors. It's the front corner passenger side sensor. It constantly tells me that something is in front of it. Very annoying to even have it on.
The sensor was painted on, but that was 3 yrs ago. So I dont think that's the problem here. It may very well be bad.
If anyone has changed it, is it easy? I assume there's access underneath the car, once I unscrew the undershield.
I also want to verify if the sensor is bad, or if it's the wiring. Anyone have any thoughts?

I just replaced one of the rear sensors. Very easy once you get the bumper cover off.
I paid about to 30.00 tooo much for the sensor, went to the stealer and was quoted like 240.00. I asked for some LOVE and was able to get 20% off right now..BUT i found the sensor at Iron Toad for like 167.00.
I found some pretty good instructions on getting the bumper cover off from the rear on this site. I am almost sure you need to remove the bumper cover to get at the sensor due to the Styrofoam shock material being close to the back of the sensors. there was no room in the rear to get your hand .arm up behind the bumper cover in the back.
This is definatly a DIY...once you get the cover off, it just unpluggs from the rharness.
Good luck
