Ignition key won't turn
 

This is an odd problem. I have keyless ignition in my 2006 LS430. The ignition turns fine when I keep the key in my pocket. But when I insert the key into the ignition, it will not turn. Same problem with all three keys. When I remove the key, the ignition again turns fine. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Is your steering wheel lock?? Try turning your steering wheel a little bit and twist the ignition to see if it works.

Steering wheel is not locked. The ignition works fine without the key, but will not turn when the key is inserted. That's why this seems like such an odd problem. What could account for this behavior?

When I first bought the car, it was the complete opposite. Key only, can't do wireless. Found it was a switch under the dash to turn wireless on. Don't think that's your problem though.
