Im sure some of you know that ive been looking at LS430's lately. Im trying to narrow down a color combo.
I test drove an 04' black with tan. I have been spoiled by my wifes GS430 with black interior so I wasnt sure about the tan.
Then yesterday an 01' just to see if I would like an older model.
I know that I have to have black interior.
The one I drove yesterday was silver with what I originally thought was black interior but it really looked like a blueish black.

What color combos are out there, and more specifically what color exteriors came with black interiors ?

I thought just about all (if not all) exterior colors can be paired with a black interior ? with maybe one exception at most ?

I think it's usually the Blk on Blk, or Slvr w/ Blk int. The white models usually have Tan int. The ivory interiors are very nice, so is the Ash colors.

Are you looking at dealerships in Maryland?

I saw an 06 for $56k Blk w/ Saddle int. The best looking interior I have ever seen in a car. It looks better than my brother's CL500 Blue w/ Tan interior.

I would like to see one with all saddle interior. The one I have seen was all black except the saddle seats.

Im in seattle not DC. I just edited my profile so its clear as mud

The I looked at was thrashed. It must have sat outside in a windstorm. The paint has scratches all over it. The trim had moss under it. The interior looked brand new though.

I would like to find either a pearl white, sandstone or burgundy exterior with black interior. Not sure if I would want the UL or not.

Im going to keep my eye out but im not looking for right away.
I think that I may keep building the 600hp GS and then drive it for a bit before I offload it. That is unless I find a color combo or deal that I just cant pass up.

I just posted this ^^ in another thread to someone who was looking at used LS430s. This might help in your search.

The car I mentioned was Blk ext w/ Blk int trim; front & rear Saddle seats w/ armrests and Saddle door trim. It's not completely Saddle on the inside (dash, carpet, etc).

Sorry about the confusion. Some people call DC "Washington", instead of saying "DC".

Try the searches I mentioned above and see if you find something..or stick with the 600 horses! I wish they made the gs430 in stick. I'd probably marry it if I could!

I think they call that an ECRU interior It's off-white.

As for the more yellowish tan leather, they call it CASHMERE officially.

For the LS430, it's officially called ECRU.
A similar off-white interior color for the LS400 (& cars of other brands) may have been called Ivory.

I may be wrong, but isn't ECRU the one designated for the Ultra Luxury/custom luxury as it uses different leather?

Ecru is the official designation of the off-white leather whether it's UL/custom lux. or not.
The difference is that the base LS430 leather is lower grade, but the color is exactly the same shade, plus you get the grey wood trim for the UL/custom with the Ecru leather instead of the blonde wood.
