I think they are rare for any make and model. I know Infiniti was going to charge my friend extra to bring a g37 in that color combo. But you can find one if you search hard.

White/Black is one of the rarest color combo's for any Lexus. It will be very hard to find.
Automobile or Car and Driver (one or the other) even tested a white/black LS 430.

interesting
hey everyone.. its kinda crazy to hear that the white on black is rare. Just because i bought a mint condition one NOT knowing that it was even rare. Definitely a good sign then.. any reason why Lexus wasnt really popular with the white on black interior combination?

Because white on black is not popular for full size luxury car buyers, most buyers that want a white LS only want light color interior, that is why Lexus only offer the light color interior: Gray, Tan, Ecru, Saddle. The LS430 came in white on black from 01-03, I am sure due to low sales volume, Lexus discountinued it in 04'.
White on black is only popular for sports car buyer, it is a sporty thing, that is why a tons of sports car you see are in that combo.......NSX, EVO, STi, GTR, 911, M3, Supra.
I know because I had that exact mind set, in my sports car days in the last 10 years, I only want white on black, now that I want a LS, I want the white on Ecru.
Lexus only makes what sells. They are not gonna make it if 10 guys in the world wants one.
Another good example is the 2nd gen GS, the regular version don't come in white/black, but with the sport design edition, they offered it. Because sporty version buyers more tend to want white/black. Our GS300 sport design is white/black.

I personally only like white on black interior on sports/sporty cars only, that's the color combo of my G35 coupe.
I don't like it on any Lexus, maybe with the exception of the IS250/350.
