Default Will '06 GS430 18" Wheels fit '03 LS430 ?

I know, I know. I have searched the site for a couple of hours and the only info I found was a discrepancy about the older GS's having smaller brakes and the wheels not fitting the LS430's. Then the next reply states the '06 SC430 18" wheels won't fit either, when I saw a car here on the site with them on it. I've done my research, but it's not conclusive enough for me to pull the trigger on some wheels I can't return.

Thanks guys,

James

Well, the new GS have the bigger 4 piston pots, but I am not sure if it will fit over the massive LS calipers. I dont know anyone who has tried to install them, so I am not sure whether or not they would fit. Tricky question... might try and ask your local dealer... i know its a long shot, but you might find someone that may be able to help you in the parts department.

Or you can sell them to me, and I can install them on my current GS

Did they seem to sit up under the fenderwell right. They didn't stick out or look goofy did they. Can you check for me and post the reply if your not sure. I know there are plenty of other memebers who would like to know for sure if they fit right. I'd hate to get them and the tires here, just to find out they stick out of the fenderwells 2 inches.

I don't want to ride around like the crackheads use to in their Ford Escorts with the wheels stickin' 6" out of the fenders.

Thanks in advance,

James

If the wheels have offset of +35~+45 then they will not stick out to hit the fenders. I think the GS wheels are 7.5" or 8" wide and the LS wheels are 7.5" wide w/+45 offset. You can check the offset of the GS wheels to make sure...

The GS does in fact have an 8incher.

No I can't seem to find the offset figueres. I think the problem others were speaking of is caliper clearence between the face of the wheel, not the rim.

My best guess is that the wheels will fit just fine and looks fine. 06' GS 430 should have BBK at the front(my guess) and if so, they will clear LS bbk as well.
They should be 18x8 ET45, so with these number you should not notice any difference but only 1/2" wider(which is nothing at all)...They will not make your car look bad and you may even like it more since they are just a tad bigger...

im going to make an educated guess and say they will fit. the 10-spoke 17" gs300 wheel even clears the LS caliper so I dont see why the 5 spoke 18" wouldn't. i have been waiting to see what this setup looks like on an LS since i first saw the gs wheels. post pics if you go ahead with it.

Does anyone have a picture of the 18" GS wheels on an LS430? I really want these wheels but don't know if they will fit!?!
