Time for some mods
Ok. I've done all the maintenance except for the 120k service, anyhow, it's times for some toys. I still need a chrome 18" sport rim but I've been looking at ipod integration so USA Spec or Vias Tech? Also I want to get DVD headrest, I have an 04 430 ML dark gray with light gray (ash) interior. All comments welcome

I did the LED treatment on my ride sometime ago. It gives the car an updated look to it. The Vaistech mod is probably the best thing ive done to the car besides buying it. lol. I was thinking about doin the tv's but may hold out til i get into a 460. 18" wheels were already on and wouldnt trade them for the world. They are much better looking than all of the other LS rims i've seen except for the 19" 5-spokes on the 07-12 LS. Good luck on modding.

I agree with the Vias Tech unit recommendation. Really was the final touch on making the sound system top notch in my opinion. I attached a dedicated 160GB iPod Classic in my glovebox and I only see it when I take it out to add more music.

Which ViasTech are you guys using. I just want to be able to use my 30GB iPod. I also decided to go with a drop down DVD. I just couldn't during myself to spend that kind of money on DVD headrest (a quality one). Here's what my future plans look like
18x7.5 chrome LS430 Oem wheels 235/050/18 continental tires. Hopefully the fit
ViasTech for iPod integration
Drop down DVD 7"
OEM rotors w/upgraded pads
Still searching for all weather mats

Why do people put in DVD players/monitors in the back seats of their cars? What percentage really want these things because they care about providing video entertainment to the rear-seat passengers? I'm under the assumption it's a bling thing, something to induce others to think that the owner of the car is "rich". ??

I only want it for the kids, as I have three of them. I have the DVD headrest in my RL but its tight and doesn't have the space of the 430. I also have them in my 460L but I'm tired of cleaning up after they ride back there. Definitely not rich!

Hey, I used iSimple from SoundsGreatUSA through Amazon instead of Vias Tech, and couldn't be happier. Integrates into the front end perfectly. Easy to install and provides a nice clean sound bandwidth. Comes with iPod and 3.5mm jack integration. Also accepts a Sirius/XM mod unit that works perfectly with the Lexus buttons. Perfect integration. Worth cross-shopping.

i have two kids, 3 and 4 yrs old- they have their ipads..i have a bracket attachments i bought from amazon so i just attach them to the headrest/ in the cars for long drives. I have a rear dvd system in lx570 but the ipads get used alot..Just easier to put their cartoons in there.
