Default Can standard Mark Levinson player be replaced w/ navigation system?

I have a 2001 LS with the Mark Levinson radio/cd player. I would like to replace it with the navigation system (navigation screen, radio component & navigation control unit). Is this possible without a lot of modification? Is it a do-it-yourself project or should I have the dealer install? Any tips or suggestions for DIY?

Thanks,
John
