I'm about to get my '04 LS tinted with Huper Optik 40. My question would probably apply to any vehicle.

What are the issues relating to putting tint on the sunroof glass? (or moonroof if that is a more correct term)

There was a thread here about a year ago and it seemed like there were a lot of preferences not to...my inclination is to tint the sunroof but I want to see if anyone sees any particular reason not to (other than personal preference).

I would think that the sunroof is one of the most important places to put tint in terms of heat rejection. One of the advantages of ceramic tint is that you can let a lot of light in and yet still have substantial heat rejection. I'm thinking about using Huper 50 for the sunroof.

What are your thoughts.

There has been talk about possibility of them breaking due to the tint... Many places wont even tint them for you. I dont exactly remember the technical reason, but one does exist, and hopefully someone with a better memory can chime in.
