2002 UL Millennium Silver / Ecru. 131K miles. Car was owned by best friend's brother in AZ, so has never seen snow and rarely rain. Always garaged, so no sun/heat damage. Basically in mint condition. Full service history, including timing chain/water pump replacement at 90k. Got it for $9k. Thinking I am one of the luckiest bastards around.. the car is everything I wanted and way more.

Welcome and congrats. If the leather is ecru or saddle, Lexus called it "Comfort leather" as opposed to black semi-aniline.

Looks like I paid a bit too much for mine. Even so, I still love these cars. I previously had a 2001 LS430 UL that I purchased with 96000 miles and finally traded it for the aforementioned 2004 model when my 2001 had 150,000 miles. I had zero problems with the 2001 UL which really encouraged me to but another one. Overall, the 2004 is a better car than the the 2001, except the 2004 seems to have more wind noise than the 2001. I have read posts on this site addressing the wind noise problem and am working on a remedy. Bottom line is, even though I may have paid a premium ($23,599) for this car there is no car anywhere at this price that is better and that includes new cars. I understand that not everyone is looking for a luxury sedan. Some people need pickups, SUV's , minivans etc., but if your in the market for a full size car, a used Lexus LS430 in unequaled.

My extremely clean 2003 LS430, purchased 4-2011, cost--after a lot of negotiation--just under $18k from a dealer, including registration, a full tank of gas, and taxes. He said he was letting me have it "at wholesale." No problems with the car in the year since--looks practically new inside and out!
