I was just wondering if my gas mileage was extraordinary or typical? City, I'm getting 19.2 mpg, extended hiway, close to 25 mpg. I'm very happy considering my '02 LS 430 weighs in @ just under 2 tons. My odometer is coming up on 80k with no problems @ all, except for the common odor issue, which I've cured with the Lysol treatment on the evaporator.

 

For my aging LS400

18 MPG with a mix but mostly city driving.
22 MPG when doing the Orange County commute...42 mile round trip.
27-28 when out on the highway no traffic problems.

 

yeahi think that's pretty normal gas mileage for the car. pretty excellent for a car of this size with a v8

 

That's better mileage than your GS400 ?

 

of course, my gs400 with tq converter and supra rear end and 20s? i am seeing around 20
