Question Another Qeustion from the new guy

In my last Thread I was Looking to see if any one had the srt intake on An LS430. Im pretty sure I can make it fit as I did my gs400 a couple of years ago. Now I need to know if the ecu that they supply will work on an Ls as they are not sure.Does any body Know? Also do you really need the ecu as the other intakes such as Injen do not supply one but then does that effect performance? I'm probally an idiot for asking but I just need a little more HP. Any help would be ver much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not contact SRT to see if you can use GS430 ECU to LS430 or no piggy-back ECU at all? It's only a phone call away. By the way, you can probably get Injen intake, GReddy E-Manage, having them installed and dyno-tuned for under 1G. How about changing your exhaust? It can lighten the weight of the car and meanwhile you can see a little bit, just a little bit of hp increase.

Where would be the best source (and what brand?) to buy exhauts for LS? I couldn't seem to find one. Most of the advertisement was for GS/SC/IS models

LS doesn't have as many aftermarket options as GS. OGS is still selling a brand new WALD exhaust for LS430 in case you are interested. The link rominl posted is a good starting point. Reliable source. Not necessary has the best prices.

Yea, I spoke with them and there not sure if the ecu will work or not. I guess I'll go with Injen or greddy and see what the story is. Might try one of those expensive exhausts too. Thanks for the help
