Default Turning Traction Control permanently off?

Does anyone know if the Traction Control can be permanently turned off in the LS430? The default is on when the car is started and can be manually turned off until the car is restarted.

I notice with my 2004 LS430 that the Traction Control causes too much of a hesitation when cornering at very slow speeds and stepping briskly on the accelerator during the turn. Other cars that I have driven with Traction Control dont have this hesitation under these conditions.

Thanks in advance for comments

not sure if that's doable. have that on my gs400, is300, and sc430, and they are always on unless you disable them. i have yet to hear someone able to permanently disable them

You're describing a problem which sounds like a transmission "tip-in" issue discussed in an earlier forum. My '04 LS does the same thing and the older forum said the fix is covered in a service bulletin TSIB #TC006-04. I plan on having dealer doing it at 10K service (along with NAV DVD.

Question I have the EXACT same problem...

....with my LS 400, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! .....is this TSB applicable to the LS 400s as well??

when turning left sharply at low speeds, or briskly stepping on the gas, at times the VSC light (the slip/skid pictogram) starts flashing and cuts power....The Lexus dealer recalibrated the yaw-rate sensor, but it still happens and the dealer claims it's normal. Any other sensible solution short of turning the VSC off every time??
