Buying a used LS
I have a family member asking for help in choosing a 2001 LS430. Is this a good year for the LS?
They seem to be priced in the mid 30's a lot of car for thr money.

I am always weary of first year releases because sometimes all the bugs are worked out. If you look at the list of tsb's between a 2001 and 2002, the list for the 2002 is half as the 2001. However that doesn't mean that the 2001 will be problematic, it just means that Lexus fixed potential kinks here and there from 01 to 02.
