On my 2004 LS430 Ultra, the door all lock automatically when the vehicle is shifted into "D". However when I stop the car to allow rear seat passengers to disembark, I have to unlock the doors from my drivers switch for the rear doors. Is there some way to get the rear doors to open from the iside without unlocking them. And, yes, I do not have the child guard lock on.

The dealer can reprogram the locks for you--there are several options available.
