Well, I finally made the jump to an LS. I just got an '04 LS430 with the Modern Luxury package (ML, Nav), along with the Smart Access feature. My first Lexus was an ES300, followed by a GS400, and then a GS430. Have loved them all. I was really interested in the new Acura RL, but don't wan't to give up the Lexus service. I'll be getting it in mid-June. Can't wait! Looks like I'm going to need to change my user name for this forum, though.

i also just purchased a 04 LS 430 last week. Mine is a flint mica with black interior. options include the modern luxury, smart access, and euro suspension. so far so good...love all the features. btw, if u dont' mind me asking, how much did u get urs for?

I too got a new 2004 LS430 after a 3 year hiatus from Lexus (in a XK8 JAG).
Before that I had a 99' GS400 - and before and LS400
Mine is black/black with Modern Luxury, NAV and Smart Access
It is a fabulous machine...

Looks like several of us picked up a new one in the last few days, mine came home last night -- '04 LS430 Custom with Smart Access n Moonlight Pearl.

On another thread that Bitkahuna started he mentioned some Consumer Reports survey about the reliability of the LS. The survey said that a 10 year old LS was more reliable than a 6 month old BMW 7-series. That is simply astounding!
