Default Amplifier wiring

I have a very stupid question, my car has ML amplifier, now as per the attached image, i need to ask are these wires going to speakers. I want to keep all stock speaker wiring and if these are going to speaker i will cut and use them as high signal input to my rockford fosgate amps and then output from the amp to these wires. In that case i dont have to do new wiring and can install 4 ohm speakers easily in all doors

I got the connection detail from another user post on the forum thanks to them, just needed to confirm the wiring.

so are these wires going to speaker connection.

Following!!!

Only thing is your tweeter section, I believe you have x2 "LT+" The LT+ should be RT-, The RT- should be LT-(FRONT SECTION)............................. The LT+ should be RT+ and The RT+ should be LT+(REAR SECTION)

I am very curious how this will work out, my question; if the current ML amp is not working then it will not send a high signal output to process for your Rockford??? Part of the system I believe uses the dsp to control the volume so the outputs from the head unit are not useable in a conventional car audio amp unit. Please correct me if I am wrong, I am going on theory!

the wiring detail is not from me i found it on the forum somewhere cant track exactly where.
the ML amp is working, i will just cut wires to use input for RF amp and then output speaker connection so i don't have to do wiring for speakers everywhere.

so are these wires going to speakers

What year is your car as it might be different connectors? From there look at diagram. Without a diagram it is easy to check with an ohm meter from plug to speaker.

It has always been my understanding that the amp in these cars have always controlled much of the audio functions and the head unit is more of just a display/control interface. That would explain why there’s a multitude of threads about the amp going out and not one about a simple aftermarket amp integration.

Just in case anyone does not believe me, a search of the 3rd gen sub-forum with only "ML" as the search term did not end with this thread showing as a result.
I will not put the full, correct term in for now(I will later), so that any doubting Thomas's can verify for themselves.
Once again, demonstrating the debilitating effect of using abbreviations, as opposed to the full correct term.

Ok the connector looks the same but without diagram you still need to verify. One easy test is at connector unplugged is to put ohm meter on + and - and have someone with ear at that speaker and make sure hear a pop and you can see the impedance. Would not work for the tweeter but if all others are right they will be also.
