UV blocking Headlight coating
Hi all,
I'm after some advice on what coating to use after sanding and polishing my headlights.
I have done it twice before and both coatings were pretty useless and lasted at best 2 years.
So, please share if you have a coating that lasts longer than that and is easy to recoat when needed.
Thanks 😄

2K clearcoat adds a protective layer over the exposed plastic, so that the UV light attacks the clearcoat first
It's the same way how clearcoat protects the paint on your car. When the clearcoat is gone, the UV light fades and drteriorates your exposed paint. The clearcoat provides a protective layer that when waxed can further shield the surfaces beneath from wear

So, will I then need to be sanding back the clearcoat in 2 years time prior to repolishing, or does the clearcoat last longer?
I see lots of "how-to" videos but nobody saying "I did this 5-10 years ago and it has lasted well".
