Maintenance by time on some items...
Just want some opinions service intervals on my 2005 LS430 with 160k miles that just turned 19 years old. I've owned it for 15 years.
Trans fluid: did it around 90k miles, in 2014. Via fluid exchange machine; no dealer near me will do the drain and refill method. at around 120k I had some hesitation in turns for a while (dealer could not replicate/solve) but likely unrelated, years later. So 10 years since fresh fluid but trans is fine, car drives perfectly for last 8+ years.
Diff fluid: Did it at 60k and last at 118k, in 2017, so 7 years now
Spark plugs: 2015 at 96k miles.Probably two early first time, as online manual says 120k miles or 12 years. my printed might have been different.
Brakes fluid/power steering/coolant all recent.
Thinking I should do diff (no interval specified, but I don't like "lifetime") and trans. No interval specified for that and not cheap for all the fluid at dealer, plus I've read you shouldn't change fluid if you haven't in too long, but 10 year / 65k since last time seems reasonable to do it soon. Overkill?).
I am also thinking I did plugs too early last time, so 9 years/70k since then is too soon. I just don't want them to "rust in the engine" or become impossible to remove. But with my lowish mileage, I am thinking to wait until 12 years, so 2027 next! Or even longer, base it on miles?
Thoughts? alternative is to do nothing on all 3 services, which in back of my mind might seem safer on the trans fluid. Timing belt due based on 9 years in 2027. (long story there...)

Trans: are you able to do a drain and fill on your own? If so I would do at least one, just to see the color of the fluid and add a fresh ~3 L.. Its probably ok after 10 years 70K miles. Open the fill port first before you drain away . . .
Diff fluid - probably ok at only 42K miles on it. Its easy to do, use a full synth. fluid.
Plugs: I'd go per the manual -120K miles, 12 years. I took plugs out of a 146,000 mile '98 LS400 that were probably original, not difficult at all. But the car was from WA state, rust free, no salt, clean engine bay.
