Valve Cover Gasket and "while I'm in there"
 

Hey everyone, my 04 has been starting to leak a little more oil than I'd like it to, and I can see it's coming from the passenger side valve cover gasket. I'm working on an order from Bell Lexus - they have a sale that ends tomorrow - so I'm trying to make sure I have everything I could feasibly need to tackle while I'm doing the job. Screenshot below but effectively I'm thinking:

• Both valve cover gaskets
• grommets for the valve cover bolts
• spark plug tube seals
• PCV valve (just in case)
• Oil filler neck gasket

I'd also like to do the PCV valve gasket, as I've heard it gets real brittle, but I'm not sure the part number. Any other part numbers, tips, or tricks while I'm tackling this would be greatly appreciated.

Your PCV valve gasket doesn't apply to 04 thru 06 models. The PCV valve itself is designed differently than the early models and Lexus eliminated the gasket.

Also, instead of buying just the valve cover bolt grommets you can actually buy the bolt and grommet together cheaper.
Part number is 9008010330 which is currently $1.20. This will save a little money and a TON of time! Screwing the 18 old grommets off then the 18 new ones takes an annoyingly long time...

It looks like you only have 1 valve cover gasket in your shopping cart. You need 2. Does the part you are ordering include both gaskets?
