new shoes!
Hey guys,
I finally got my wheels and tires. I upgraded my 91 LS400's stock 15" rims to GS400 Platinum Edition 16" wheels. I am trying to keep the look close to stock but get a bigger wheel for a better ride and more traction.

What do you think?
By the way, does anyone know what labor should run to have lowering springs installed? That gap between the top of the wheel and the fender is really going to bug me now.
Thanks,
Rich

I have always liked the look or 5 or 6 spokes, Nice clean 400, When I went to Dealer to lower my 92 SC400, they wanted like 500 and that was 10 years ago. I shopped and ended up going to a alignment shop(half the dealers price) and had the car aligned also which is a must.....

Looks great Rich

If you recently replaced your shocks then I would wait on lowering. From what I have read, coilovers are the way to go. They improve the handling and you can change the amount the car is lowered. I would save up some cash and buy coilovers.
