Default Outside Temp Sensor Location?

The outside temp display on my 98 (next to the clock) has been erratic / inconsistent lately. I'd like to inspect the sensor for dirt/damage/blockage but I can't find it under the hood or in the FSM. (Factory Service Manual)

Does anyone here know where it is?

Kneel down and look through the slats on the right side of the front bumper and you should see the little cylinder shaped temperature sensor. Toyota seems to put the sensor in the same location on all its vehicles that have outside temperature displays.
