front wheel bearings/hubs 98-00

After an alignment appointment on Monday, the tech informed me that the front left wheel bearing had a small amount of play. I took it home, got the front wheels off the ground, and sure enough there was a slight wiggle there. This is a 1999 with 177k miles on the clock.
(Within the last year I have replaced the strut rod bushings, lower control arm bushings, lower ball joint, and tie rod ends... so those concerns can be eliminated)

A few questions to the forum:

1a) Has anyone run in to this problem to find that the root cause was nothing more than the hub/bearing starting to come loose?
1b) If that was the case, what is the factory torque spec for that nut that holds the front wheel bearing?

2) If my wheel bearing does in fact need replacement, does anyone have the factory part number? Any good or bad experiences with non-OEM alternatives? I'm not finding many options for 98-00... are they the same as 95-97?

Thanks All,
Ethan

YEP: the torque specs... ABOVE..
plus I dont know of anything wrong with Timken bearings... but your wheel should not have any wobble..

yea i know lol i just always like to think the LS deserves the best, and for a $30 price increase on a part that'll probably never be replaced again i'd just go oem
